Hi, I've just installed midgard 1.4.4 onto a Redhat 7.2 box following the marvellous installation notes at http://www.aegir-cms.org/Documentation/Installation/ and it is up and running fine.
I downloaded the new Aegir CMS 1.0 RC2 and started following the notes from the same page. Unfortunately I only got most of the way through part 1. I tried $chmod -R apache.apache /var/nadmin and got an 'invalid string' error. so I changed it to $chown -R apache.apache /var/nadmin which worked OK. I hope this is OK. In part 2 - Installing Aegir I managed $ repligard -a -i AegirCMS.xml.gz and $ repligard -a -i AegirAddOn_Gallery.xml.gz They both reported they were importing then returned to the prompt. However when I tried $ repligard -a -i AegirAddOn_Member.xml.gz or $ repligard -a -i AegirAddOn_Tools.xml.gz I got a 'repligard-CRITICAL **:Error logging into Database' Now when I try http://localhost/asgard I can't log in when just 5 minutes ago I could. It's so close to working - I've been trying for 2 weeks but it's still not quite there.
