Another option is to use http://aegir.ispname.com/my-customer. You'd
have a host entry for each customer with host='aegir.ispname.com' and
prefix='/my-customer'. Granted, www.my-customer.com/aegir looks better,
but with my approach you can use one SSL cert for all customers, and
each still has a 'private' aegir. Downside is that load-balancing across
multiple machines means you must have either aegir1.ispname.com,
aegier2.ispname.com, etc. which you don't need with the
www.my-customer.com/aegir, or you must put in a routing server-side
proxy, but that is not something I'm really knowledgable about.
