Hi All

Can someone give me a quote for the following work? The Wilderness Society Australia is a non-profit environment group (www.wilderness.org.au). We don't have a huge budget and we'll be building the site ourselves. I need to speed the development of a few things so the tools are flexible enough so I can do what I want with Aegir without having to build everything from the ground up. What I need it to do is:

1. Integrate MidCOM into Aegir so that objects are totally customisable - you can pre-define input forms with whatever you want, including the rich text editor.

At this point the "MidCOMized" administration interface is implemented
as an AegirAddOn that can be used as a drop-in replacement for the regular "News and Articles" view.

So it all sounds quite close.

I've got Midcom working I think but it's all in German and I have no idea what to do with it. The form I need to build is defined below. I don't want to get a customised job. I want Aegir to be flexible enough for me or anyone else to build custom objects and input forms ourselves. I guess some documentation would be required for me to be able to do this stuff - how these new Midcom features would plug into Aegir is all a bit of a mystery to me right now.

So you know what my end goal is: my article input form will look something like this:
Title
Abstract
Body (with rich text option)
post date / retraction date
Document type (4 options in drop-down menu)
Region (10 options in multiple select box)
Contact (not sure if these should be done using the author functionality)
Contact Phone
Contact Email
Checkbox to add article to front page
Checkbox to enable user comments
Checkbox to include in next email newsletter
Priority (to determine how high it appears on an index page)

Obviously, if it was a massive project to implement this and it would be much cheaper for me to pay someone just to build me a custom input form, then so be it but these improvements to the flexibility of the tools will benefit everyone and there's no point in reinventing the wheel.

2. I am also willing to pay for someone to add in a bunch of features into the Example site so I don't have to write them from scratch. Henri has said it would take him a few hours to integrate these functions.
- user comments on articles
- search engine (something about Mnogo search but I don't understand what that is)
- 'email a friend'
- printer friendly version
- member addon with bulk mailer

Thanks
James
