No. My bad. That wasn't it.

Checked the URL .html was still there. Reinstated the new NemienNavBar 
everything is still okay.

Thinking back I deleted a few erroneous styles at the same time. I can't 
get the bug to repeat itself but it seems to have gone for now. So I'm 
happy :-)

Search me. I just assumed it was being called by styles somewhere. I 
had changed '/' to '.html' as the URL sufix. You mentioned the 
'.html'. I reverted NemeinNavBar to it's original state. Then bingo, 
it started working as expected.
