No, I did not get any cookies from the host relating to Aegir. This is
what puzzles me. Cookies works for everywhere else, so I do not
understand why Aegir fails on this.

The whole midgard setup is on my laptop and isn't available externally,
apologies for that. I set up a hostname in /etc/hosts and mapped it to
127.0.0.2 and am running the whole thing against that. It works for
Midgard and Asgard, just not for Aegir.

That would be incredibly handy. I don't know if it is feasible or not,
but some/any indication on what went wrong would probably save a few
questions in here.
