You can do search and replace in Aegir CMS for whole topic trees.
Just click the "document and looking glass" icon in the toolbar.

For now we have NTLM in addition to Midgard's own auth. PAM
support would make it more dynamic.

However, IMO MySQL performs well enough. Only thing I would
be interested in moving to another repository would be groups
and users to LDAP.
