Could somebody explain what this script actually should do? In more elaborate words, which fields should it update/change to make repligard skip these entries.

It does some queries to determine which object should be left behind and then fudges the updated and replicated fields so that repligard thinks there is no need to replicate it (of course with the -a option it will replicate them anyway) then it checks timed approvals and for those objects that should be replicated fudged the updated/replicated fields focing replication.

This is inherently ugly and unreliable.

I've a YAMP style plugin to remove unapproved objects from a dump and anopther one to add delete commands for those objects that have passed their approval time (timed to be approved only between certain datetimes), these can be found in the CVS, testing feedback is most welcome.

To make sure you get articles that have timed approval you must use -a dumps (since otherwise the article might have been replicated earlier, but removed from the dump since it was not yet approved)
