i have a "old" NadminStudio-CD-Version installed with RedHat 7.1. I want to upgrade the system at least to 7.3 (to have Red Carpet support). Is there anything i should know before i upgrade the system?
If I remember correctly, just *not* upgrading Apache should be OK. Eero, you did several of these. Do you remember any other issues?
If I remember correctly you should NOT upgrade PHP (or any modules) and cyrus must also be left alone (since it's the patched version, of course if do not intend to use it then remove it alltogether).
Actually I think I wrote step by step instructions on this to the list "back in the day". You could try diving into the archives.
NOTE: there is a very distinct possibility of messing up the upgrade so make full backups of the system before starting unless you find the instructions and can follow them to the letter (there were some gotchas), actually full backup is always a good idea...
