can someone give me a hint please, what could be the reason of that error
mgd_preparse_file is definitely defined in midgard-lib. it seems this is a linker problem, the solaris ld is used instead of gcc's.
Try if the solaris 8 installation notes (search the archive) by me and bergie are of any help, we had to tweak the linket options there as well.
