First thanks for all replies on this thread

I think I solved some problems in my installation

The problem of mgd_preparse_file could be solved. The problem was that lex
(flex on solaris) haven't worked properly with the given parameters. I
installed flex on solaris and it worked.

The Databaseproblems are not solved yet...
I installed the midgard-lib without-multilang support. Than I found a
solution of a problem with repligard and solaris in an other thread
(ISO8859-1 instead of ISO-8859-1). But repligard do not work correct it
gives a core dump.. (Segementation fault).

# ./dbinstall
Creating Midgard database...
Updating MySQL database...
Creating blobdir...
Skipping 1.2.5 admin site...
Installing Asgard...
repligard-Message: Reading config file install-repligard.conf
repligard-Message: Importing Asgard-1.4.2.xml.gz
Segmentation Fault - core dumped
/home/tschw/midgard1.5/midgard-data-1.5.0/midgard-data.conf
contains configuration information for Apache.
You should add it to Apache configuration file before starting Midgard.
! Asgard as root at http://localhost:8099/asgard/ using:
<username>='admin' and <password>='password'

My questions: is there a plan to bundle midgard for solaris?
Has someone a working installation of midgard 1.5 on solaris?
Can someone imagine why I get this coredump?

Cheers Thomas
