Hi there,
when installing Midgard 1.5 on Debian woody from source the following problem arised after
midgard-php4-1.5.0# ./mkall
the following error is prompted:
...
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open /root/install/midgard-php4-1.5.0/modules: File format not recognized
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: [midgard.la] Error 1 (ignored)
mode=install cp ./midgard.la /root/install/midgard-php4-1.5.0/modules
cp: cannot stat `./midgard.la': No such file or directory
make: [/root/install/midgard-php4-1.5.0/modules/midgard.la] Error 1 (ignored)
What's up with this file named midgard.la?
I found the error: libtool has to be installed before.
