Well, I'm tired of banging my head of Midgard Lite 0.8.1. I want to get the current version out of CVS but CVS seems to be down right now. sh-2.05b# cvs login Logging in to :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:2401/home/cvsmgd CVS password: cvs [login aborted]: connect to cvs.midgard-project.org(195.30.85.204):2401 failed: Connection refused sh-2.05b#
If anybody is interested in my trials with 0.8.1 can read on. I installed lite a couple of times before I realized that I needed PEAR and to download Article.class from CVS-web. Then I messed around with the symlinks and the Allow Overides and the .htaccesses to get to the point that I would no longer get an error 404 when going to /aegis/. Now I get a 403 error when going to /aegis/ (Forbidden access). My internal logs show: [Fri Aug 22 14:36:29 2003] [error] [client 66.82.208.1] (13)Permission denied: cannot read directory for multi: /var/www-ssl/ All of the images on my midgard-lite welcome are all broken. I really want to test Aegis as a canidate for my next CMS. The problem is that I don't want to mess up my clean Debian install by doing custom modules for both Apache and PHP4. The problem with the main Midgard+Aegis (for me) is that the install is just too messy. I need something that is relatively easy to install on a vanilla debian install with mysql already on it. The debian packages listed in "nightly builds" on the website is missing critical packages such as php4-midgard. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
