David
Dear all,
As I started a while ago with midgard/aegir I saw the option of approval in
some parts of Aegir (website, page, article, maybe-I-am-missing-something)
and with the repligard (life/staging) functionality I thought: 'So only after
you approve something, it will show on the life site! very handy'. After setting up de life/staging update I could not figure out why my
articles where already on the life site while I thought they would be blocked
by de Downgrade_unapproved.pl script. {See my e-mails of some weeks ago, not
very important right now}
After careful investigation of the perl scrip I came to the conclusion that
it only downgraded page's and its belonging elements (and images).
Am I missing the point and should articles be downgraded in some means or
other way be blocked if unapproved?
Has somebody already written something that will downgrade articles before
repligard does his job (hopefully even with topic approval)?
Else I will start writing something that does have this functionality. If
there are any philosophical idea's about what the best way is, I am all ear.
With regards,
Edwin Barendse
