Hi!

I just finished the initial work on the new - MidCOM powered - Website
for the "Akkordeonorchester Unterpfaffenhofen" [1], an accordion
orchestra in Germering/Unterpfaffenhofen, a small town near Munich.

The site itself is really simple by now, it's running on a chroot'ed
Apache environment with Midgard 1.5.0 (with the "preparser" enabled -
*wohoo*) and the current CVS MidCOM version. It uses the taviewer,
newsticker and events default components, some customized styles and a
dynamic homepage - and you may even not be able to read it, because it's
entirely in German language :-/

In the near future I'll update the MidCOM Quickstart Guide upon which I
created the site, as far as I can remember there have been some changes
in the MidCOM framework (the Quickstart Guide was for MidCOM pre-1.1 I
think)...

        Have a nice weekend,
        Nico. (heading for the Oktoberfest)

P.S. As this site has been "in development" for some time now, I had to
upgrade the MidCOM version recently. I wanted to write a short essay
about that to the community, but the update was so easy and there
weren't any problems so that essay would be rather short...
