Turns out I needed gmake so I installed that and went gmake in place of make
as shown below. I'm now getting a different error, anyone know of to resolve
this?

$ gmake
preparse.c:24: stdint.h: No such file or directory
gmake[1]: *** [preparse.lo] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/files/storage/Incoming/midgard/midgard-lib-1.5.0/src'
gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
$
