Thanks to tarjei in the chat room, I have
everything working now. The solution was to grant permissions to the
midgard database user.

I have everything up and running, and can access
admin on 8101 asgard on 8102 and the example on 8099, no changes get saved
however if I try to set up new hosts, etc. any ideas where to start
looking? Pretty sure database user is ok, since content is
served.. Same problem whether I use admin on 8101 or the asgard
interface on 8102
