I turned this on in the PHP.ini file and it seems that it has no effect
on any pages served through Midgard/Aegir.

I did some tests with a non-Midgard site and the page loaded extremely
fast, but within the Midgard system it showed that it was still
streaming the entire file and not the compressed version of it.

Has anyone done any successful implementations or tests with the
gzhandler?

Thanks,
Nathan.

Couldn't You just turn this on in php.ini?
