Now, as to how to get an IDE communicating with Midgard, I see three practical alternatives:
* Use the Midgard-SOAP bindings * Use PHPmole's RPC API (which is probably undocumented) * Develop real WebDAV support for Midgard and use that
Fourth could be the connection API used by WebInOne Studio, but I don't know anything about that.
