Hello all, We've successfully installed Midgard and Aegir and now the MidCOM framework with the templates.
I've created a new site from scratch (based on the MidCom template) following scrupuously the indications provided on the Midgard website. So far, so good. I've created a style that uses some of the elements from the MidCom template, such as <(navi)>, <(breadcrumb)>, etc. etc. So far so good - even if <(navi)> and <(breadcrumb)>, <(page_title)> etc. are not getting resolved (yes, I've checked if they're there. They are, since it's a MidCOM site). My problems: - when I go to: http://localhost/myMidcomwebsite all I get is a blank page. (i.e. the root page is blank !) Actually I'm stuck at the point described here: http://www.slideml.org/files/slidesets/499/slide_12.html I should be getting "Welcome to your new MidCOM site" (which is pulled dynamically from the news & topics part) but I ain't getting that. - when I go into the Midcom admin http://localhost/myMidcomwebsite/midcom-admin/ais/ on this page I get a blank page too. I've seen in this list that a couple of people have had that problem as well but since I've created a MidCom site from scratch I cannot understand why it doesn't work. In the MidCOM Admin I've noticed that one can set up the GUID's for different stuff such as the root topic of the site and the "AIS topic GUID". I've cross-checked with what's in Aegir and it's correct. But the AIS topic GUID in Aegir leads to an empty topic so I can understand why this part is empty although I'm not really sure that's the way it's supposed to be. - I've created topics and articles, too. They are in the correct place (within my site's root topic) but they don't show up in the navigation. It would be great if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong ! Thank you.
