When i check on the httpd error log, the midgard engine seems doesn't respond request that come from the server itself. The ip on error log is ip number on eth0:2 instead of eth0 . Does this mean that the midgard doesn't respond to the virtual ip request.
Check your namevirtualhost and listen statements in httpd.conf. I have never had problems with this.
