Hi Damien, I am currently working at a Midgard alpha-freebsd installation and hoping to get it towards a ports installation.
So far I have de default components (admin and all the other websites) working but Aegir did not want to function yet. Could get the login page and I know that the password verification works but the next page get cut off after the request (ethereal check) I am doing this at home so tomorrow will mail my Midgard-php4 ports package. So you can test. Would it be handy if I build a Midgard test page. To check if all the functions work properly. Just an idea that popped up. With regards, Edwin. > From: Heiser, Damien [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2004 10:35 PM > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > Subject: [midgard-user] midgard.so not compiling correctly in FreeBSD > > I've tried quite a few things to make a (non corrupt(?) midgard.so file) > > So far I've done the following. > > Remove the --no-verify command > > Add "i386-unknown-freebsd4.9" to the end of the line with the "--no- > verify" > command. > > Added "lt_target=$ac_cv_build" inbetween > > *) lt_target="$target" ;; > esac > > and > > # Check for any special flags to pass to ltconfig. > libtool_flags="--cache-file=$cache_file" > test "$enable_shared" = no && libtool_flags="$libtool_flags > --disable-shared" > > All of these things get midgard.so to compile.
