Hello Alex,
Everything looks good with your child style.
Check that you have set /CoretechStyle/de.linkm.taviewer set to the style of the topic (in MidCOM AIS -> Site administration - -> Edit topic).
So basically you have to tell a topic what child style it is using. Otherwise it will use default.
