Sorry, can't confirm here, everything fine.
But my System is slightly different...

SuSE 9.0 PHP: 4.3.3 / Zend 1.3.0
Midgard CMF: 1.5.0/SG / Aegir: 1.0.1 
Apache: 1.3.28
MySQL 4.0.15

Both MMP and "Normal" mod_midgard are OK...

Looks like something is broken with your installation...
Maybe downgrading Aegir to 1.0.1 can help or try reinstalling everything?
