Midgard 1.6.0_alpha "Happy Thursday!" released.

Lodz, March 10th 2004 -- The Midgard Project has released alpha version
of the latest 1.6 Midgard Open Source Content Management Framework.

Major changes included in this release:

        * Apache module has caching support which increase performance a lot
        * Multilang features are now default
        * Datagard , the new midgard installer and tool for managing midgard
          database and applications.

Why this release is marked as "alpha"?

Apache module

Mod-midgard-preparser is used in this released as better and faster module.
New module has caching support and much better logging facilities.
Nevertheless it still has some bugs related to style and page elements caching.

Multilang

As multilang feature provides more flexibility to Midgard CMF,
it has not any admin interfaces support.

Datagard

New midgard installer and almost repligard frontend for midgard-data package
provides flexible tools for database managing. Datagard was originally designed
as tool based on Debian's debconf package.
