I have a brand new installation of the Midgard Framework v1.5.0 on my server that is running Redhat Linux 7.2, PHP 4.3.4, MySQL 3.23.41 and Apache 1.3.22. I have register_globals On, safe_mode Off, and cookies and javascript enabled on my browser. Also, the server is writing sessions to the session directory.
I have two issues: (1) I can login to asgard using username: admin and password: password but then I cannot change the password nor does asgard allow me to change anything else in asgard, and (2) When I point the browser to http://www.mysite.com/aegir, I get the nice aegir login screen but I cannot login. It just redirects me to the same login page with a '?message=No Session Available' attached to the end of the URL. I have completely reinstalled the Framework once already and I've trolled the list archives and I think I've tried every suggestion. None have worked. Please help! One item of note. I had asgard working and I was able to change the password and I did. Then I decided to install aegir and it is only after installing aegir that asgard is not updating the database. Don't know if this piece of info helps. Thanks. Regards, Tom Baik __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
