I've noticed the same while exporting only one topic tree from a sitegroup. All article attachments were gone. So I wrote a script that lists all article attachments from the selected topic tree and outputs all necessary Repligard configs, copy-pasted the config to repligard.conf file and exported.
It's ugly but worked fine. Unfortunately I don't have access to the script right away but I'm sure you have no problems writing a similar script in 30 minutes. :)
Alexander: Any idea if this could be solved at repligard level?
