Hi!

You could try to update the html editor to version 3.0 RC1. This won't help 
IE, but the mozilla version of the editor is greatly improved, so you could 
tell the mac users to install a new browser. Here's the URL:

You'd have to copy the files into aegir's pages, overwriting the old version. 
I didn't try it myself, so I can't tell you how complicated it'll be. But if 
you decide to try to upgrade, tell me how it went :-).

As for the Copy URL thing: Wouldn't it be great to have something like 

if (browser != MSIE){
        alert (URL);
}

Maybe we should file a request at tigris.org...
