Hello guys,

There used to be Perl script for this in midgard-data
called package-upgrade.pl. I had to modify it a bit
to make it more usable (i.e. it doesn't delete/re-create
blobdirs).

I think the directions were in README/INSTALL files
of the midgard-data...

Marcin: Also, if you want to upgrade your Aegir,
you're in trouble with common tools. Why? Because
ML has article_i records that get new GUIDs as the
packages are converted = duplicates in snippet_i,
article_i etc. tables. David provided a patch in
repligard for this. I haven't tested it though...
(AFAIR it was repligard -b... David can tell more. :))

Cheers!

~ //Henri

|
| 1. Create custom midgard database without ML features.
| 2. Import Aegir to this DB.
| 3. Make update
| (Do not forget about page owner , and cache fix, if You compiled
midgard with its support)
| 4. Export using repligard xml with ML.
| 5. Using the same repligard xml , import to ML DB.
