Hi

I have just tried to install Midgard1.6. I used the midgard debs from
www.webinone.com/debian. The system is basically a debian Woody but both
PHP4.3 and Mysql 4.0.18 have been installed from backports.org. The
packages installed without any problems.

I then downloaded the midgard-data-1.6.0beta.tar.bz2 file from
midgard-project.org and replaced path.config with path.config-debian and
ran the Install.sh file using sudo ./Install.sh which gives me the
following error:

./datagard: /dev/null: Permission denied

There is no any midgard package in data directory !
Read README file

I looked int the data folder and all the default xml files appear to be
there so it looks like the problem in /dev/null..

The server I am installing on is a jvds.com virtual dedicated server so
I am not sure if the problem could be due to that. I had it
running midgard1.5 without any problems.

Anyone have any ideas, I couldn't find any previous posts regarding
dev/null. What exactly is datagard using /dev/null for?

For redirecting some output, I'd guess.
