try: apache2ctl -t -D DUMP_VHOSTS ( replace apache2ctl to your distro apachectl ) if your vhost is not listed , change the file /usr/local/etc/midgard/vhost/yourhost:8001 to /usr/local/etc/midgard/vhost/yourhost_8001 and restart apache.
