Hello
I am trying to make midgard to use mysql 4 server, to make use of its
query-caching features, my tests show that this gives serious
performance boost. However i need to keep old mysql 3.23 also running
for other applications. I have scanned docs and mailing list, but there
seems to be no way to specify a different port/socket to use for
midgard, so Im stuck. Can someone advice how to do it?
Build midgard from source. Around line 360 in midgard.c you will find this:
mysql_real_connect(mgd->mysql, host,
user, password, database, 0, NULL, 0);
arg 6 (0) is for a non-default port, arg 7 (NULL) for a non-default socket.
cheers
