The big one is an IDE like the one Alan Knowles was working on. It'll be written in Java. I really wanted to use Eclipse, but Eclipse doesn't have the "virtual filesystem" feature Netbeans has that would make it really simple to integrate it on top of Midgard, and I won't use or recommend Netbeans because it is buggy and a resource hog.
I am going to do it, but I don't have a timeframe. (Yet.)
Have you considered using webdav instead? As you probably know midgard now has webdavsupport for snippets, expanding it to all objects shouldn't be hard.
That'd be fine, if there's a way to enumerate objects using it.
OTOH, I haven't enabled mod_dav on my server because it's supposedly a security risk (besides which, it's a bit of a pain to configure). Any comments on this?
