Yes, that's because you haven't imported de.linkm.taviewer component. Use datagard to import at least the following components and you'll do fine later: - -de.linkm.taviewer (static content) - -de.linkm.newsticker (news) - -de.linkm.events (events calendar) - -net.nemein.rss (rss aggregator) - -net.siriux.photos (photo gallery)
In MidCOM each topic is governed by a component, and obviously you must have components installed before you can use them. So, import the list above and then get back to the initialization.

Nope. The initialization refers to your MidCOM Template site initialization - each time you want a new MidCOM Template powered Web site you have to go through the initialization. It's just a point-n-click operation, really.
So, import the component, then initialize, then produce content. ;)
