Hard to compare framework to application. What is 100% of wordpress possibilities is 1% of midgard possibilities. If You want to compare installation , midgard's cms application is now much easier to install then any other PHP application. If You say that midgard framework is 10 times harder to install then PHP application , you must still compare framework to application and realize that with midgard installed you have 200 times much more possibilities then PHP application. You can compare Midgard to Zope , and Wordpress to de.linkm.newsticker.
