GÃNZBURG, 2005-01-14 -- The Midgard Project has released the latest
stable version 2.0.1 of MidCOM - the Midgard Components Framework.
MidCOM is a PHP-based component framework for the Midgard Content
Management System.

MidCOM is the default Content Management interface in Midgard CMS, and
provides developers a production-proven architecture for building new
web applications. With the MidCOM framework PHP applications have
powerful localization, configuration, templating and data abstraction
features.

Main user interface changes from 2.0.0 release:

* Current location has been clarified in the Authoring Interface
* On-site administration toolbar access control has been improved
* Index articles in de.linkm.taviewer are now treated correctly in
~  breadcrumb

Main framework changes from 2.0.0 release:

* Better handling of UTF-8 as the default character encoding in
~  MidCOM Template Site
* New system for sorting topics and articles in helpers/itemlist.php
* Authentication in net.nemein.reservations component has been fixed
* WikiPage creation in net.nemein.wiki has been fixed
* Cache handling in MidCOM Template Site has been improved
* Photo gallery upload handling in net.siriux.photos has been protected
~  against PHP timeouts
