Hi! sorry if I sounded a bit rude in my last mail, I didn't mean anything by it, but you know how it is, you spend the entire day in front of the screen and nothing seems to work....
Oh, well. I followed your advice and imported aegir and midcom-admin again, which at first failed with one of these cryptic repligard errors. However, after I created the blobs directory tree manually, everything worked (RFE: would it be possible for repligard to simply complain that the directory doesn't exist (or better yet: create the directory) instead of saying something like "repligard-CRITICAL **: Error writing BLOB: cannot open file /var/lib/midgard/blobs/[etc.]") Now, the system is working fine again, except for two things: - When editing an article in Aegir I get "please install rcs for this to work". apt-get says that rcs is installed. Do I need anything else to make it work? - I'm not really sure how to set up staging/live. The installation manual on midgard's website is not particularly helpful, since it's so out of date that it's not even correct for 1.5. Does one still need scripts from CVS or is everything included in the debs? Bye, and thanks for all the help, Andreas Am Donnerstag, 10.
