I had absolutely no problems with the RHEL packages,
they installed nice and easy. However, I had to upgrade
some PCRE and other packages as they were not functioning
correctly. See my blog entry at:
http://www.kaukolaweb.com/blog/midgard_on_rhel3.html

Please note that I required NTLM authentication,
which forced me to compile Midgard (and Apache, and PHP)
from the sources. Before I compiled, I did try to run
the packages and they went in without problems.

Also, the data package can be compiled separately,
although it would be nice to have a package for that too.

Cheers!
