Hi Chad. I'm not positive this is the exact solution for you but this is
what I found when I was dealing with dialog issues on OpenBSD with
Midgard CMS. I've copied an excerpt from my Midgard Installation Guide
For OpenBSD below for your reference.

If you receive dialog usage information when you run datagard then you
have the wrong version installed. I tried using dialog 0.3, dialog 0.6z,
dialog 0.61a, cdialog 0.9a and none of them worked. I finally tried
cdialog 1.0-20040920 from
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/dialog/dialog_1.0-20040920.orig
.tar.gz.

Dialog

# ./configure
# gmake
# gmake install
# gmake clean.

Subject: [midgard-user] Midgard Install

Hi. I am installing Midgard 1.6.3 on RedHat Enterprise Linux Version 3.
I am having a problem with installing the Midgard data package.

1. On the install page for the Midgard data package it says that I need
to add this to the ./configure
command: --with-dialog (dialog binary, important for datagard functions
[e.g. dialog]).

The problem is that I can't find the dialog binary anywhere on my system
and can't find it anywhere on the Internet. Although, I do have a
dialog.c but that is a source file. Does anyone know where this is
located so that I can install it.
