Providing you have dependencies installed. >I followed the pre setup configuration instructions to make sure that all the >correct packages are installed on my linux box including the glib2 package. > >When I go to run the "configure" script it bombs with an error message saying >that It cannot find glib. On MDK you need libglib1.2-devel-1.2.10-11mdk or higher installed to have glib-config binary. And of course libglib1.2-1.2.10-11mdk for glib devel itself. >I then went to the gtk.org website and downloaded and installed the full gtk >package to make sure that I had the most up to date package installed. I >tried running the configure script for midgard again and I got the same >result. Generally, the only package you might have to compile yourself would be expat since expat < 1.95 is a bit buggy and causes soe repligard issues. Moreover, I run Midgard on various Mandrake boxes since 8.2 release and it works like a charm :) BR Solt I know the glib package is installed, why won't midgard find it? Thank you Eric H.
