Dear fellow Midgard users, our site is running on an old Midgard (I think it's 1.4-something) set up by someone else ages ago. We tried to upgrade it to a new version: it basically crashed everything we had. We had someone who has set up many different Midgard-sites successfully install a new Midgard and then transfer our data over - doesn't work. Apparently our DB is somehow corrupt. The system runs ok, apart from the fact that the user-administration is a complete SNAFU, we can basically only log in using the admin, otherwise the strangest things happen.
We have reached a point where we absolutely have to set up a new system, therefore install a new Midgard and transfer the old data. We're now looking for a real Midgard-Pro who could take a look at the existing DB and ultimately figure out a way how to transfer the old content to the new system, enabling us to a) use the site as before b) fix the user-administration c) give us features that come with the new Midgard-version(s) and d) enable us to occasionally upgrade the system without troubles. If there is anyone on this list who would be willing to take a look at our system and help us, or point me to someone who will also not cost me an arm and a leg, I would appreciate very much him or her contacting me (privately is best, I suppose).
