Greetings!

Great to hear Mac success stories!

The errors are given by pre-2.4.5 MidCOM and just mean that your indexer process (Midgard's integrated
Lucene search engine) isn't running.

You have two choices:

* Either disable indexing for your site (by editing the settings in / midcom-admin/settings of your site)

* Or set up the indexer and start its process. See info in:

Hi,

After a lot of work I managed to get Midgard working on my iMac (OSX 10.4 Tiger). Thanks Robert Guerra!

Now I would like to create a site, so I created a TEST site with one user with administrator privileges. Now when I want to add some content, i get a lot of errors:

Warning: main(XML/Parser.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /sw/share/midgard/midcom/lib/midcom/services/ indexer/XMLCommClient.php on line 240

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'XML/ Parser.php' (include_path='.:/sw/share/pear4') in /sw/share/ midgard/midcom/lib/midcom/services/indexer/XMLCommClient.php on line 240

Do I have to install additional components? I thought the midgard package to be quite complete (and I installed a lot of additional tools like Xcode and Fink).

Funny thing is that the content is added!

Kind regards,
