Sorry to trouble you again then, but can you please tell me what the next steps would be?
Do I need to just ge tthe smc plugin and use that to convert these dot files as your changes have been added?

or do I need to recompile smc with the java file below added to it?

Thanks in advance for your help and time.

If you have .dot files and wish to use the little code I have, you can for exemple add the codehaus repository to your repository list and add the smc-maven-plugin as a compile dependency to your project. Then import the DotConvertor class into your code and use it appropriately. Look at how the smc mojo uses it if you need an exemple.
Or you can duplicate the code in your project if the ASL v2.0 license is suitable.

If you don't already have .dot files, you should probably look into the project referred by Joakim in response to my previous post on the mojo user list.

Cheers,

Jerome
