MOJO-441 was actually an xdoclet-maven-plugin issue, not a hibernate3 one.
Yup, but i cant figure out how to solve this from that end, plus i could
use some advice from the plugin users :-)
My first question would be, are you using hbm.xml files or annotations?
hbm.xml mappings. What i cant figure out:
* MOJO-441: I have <mapping> elements in hibernate.cfg.xml. How can i
just tell the plugin to look for mappings in a directory or otherwise
bypass the problem?
* How can i tell the plugin to use a JDBC URL to generate the DB tables
while deploying using a datasource with a single configuration file?
If it helps, you can see my POM [1] and cfg.xml files here [2]. I use
filtering to populate the property values.

Subject: [mojo-user] [hibernate3-maven-plugin] Snapshot for MOJO-441 and
usage questions
MOJO-441 [1] is a pain. Is there a snapshot available with the fix?
Otherwise, can i remove the <mapping/> elements from hibernate.cfg.xml
and provide the mappings dir, then have the plugin add those to the
resulting hibernate.cfg.xml?
I also have been using different config files for build and deployment
with a connection URL and datasource configuration respectively, to have
the plugin create the database tables for me. In general i'm looking for
usage examples so if anyone in this list can provide any i would be
grateful.
Many thanks,
Manos
