Hi Jerome,

I am running Maven 2.0.6.
I saw that message about forking and I thought that it belongs to the exec-maven-plugin... I do not remember that I have set a forking option... Any suggestion for where to look?

Adrian.

Hi Jerome,

2. I am using version 1.1-beta-1.
3. I tried to do only mvn install -- got the same behavior (shortened
build lifecycle)
4. In my pom.xml the exec-maven-plugin is configured as follows:
       <plugin>

[...]

5. Here is the mvn -x clean install (just the exec-maven-plugin part):
[INFO] Preparing exec:java
[WARNING] Removing: java from forked lifecycle, to prevent recursive
invocation.
[INFO] No goals needed for project - skipping
[DEBUG]

The lifecycle was forked. Any particular reason as to why this happened ?

Have you tried other versions of maven (e.g. 2.0.6 if you're not running it).

5. I will try to isolate the problem

As the problem is probably not related to exec, you can continue
posting on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] thread.

Cheers,

Jerome
