IMO there is no reason to have a "dead" project area. If there are
plugins that doesn't have any activity (but releases) they are "stable".
Perhaps the plugin overview page should include a "last release" date
and possibly a "stability" or "maturity" indicator, but no dead area.
Sandbox plugins (the ones without releases) are sandboxed so no need to
worry about them as they have no liveness guarantee. I see no reason to
clean up in the sandbox unless someone has written a similar plugin
again or something like that.
If any user still using that plugin,
can he please manifest himself,
so we could discuss.
I will wait for 2 to 3 weeks for
answers before calling a vote for
that project end of life.
