Hey everyone, I just joined this list, so I apologize if I am duplicating any recent discussions. What is the timeline for the next release of the xmlbeans-maven-plugin?
I see that a vote for the 2.0.1 release was sent out on Dec 23, 2006 (no responses), http://www.nabble.com/-VOTE--Release-XMLBeans-maven-plugin-2.0.1-tf2874522.html#a8034113 and then again on Feb 21, 2007 http://www.nabble.com/-VOTE-XML-Beans-Maven-Plugin-Releases-for-various-purposes-tf3269892.html#a9091115 What is the voting procedure? Can I give my +1? There have been numerous discussions on the Maven Users list and issues in JIRA stemming from a problem with the non-existent xmlbeans-jsr173-api resolution in xmlbeans-maven-plugin 2.0.0, as well as a desire to get the xbean version upgraded to 2.2.0. http://www.nabble.com/Override-plugin-dependency-version-tf2357806s177.html#a6568092 http://www.nabble.com/-Maven2--xmlbeans-maven-plugin-Issue----StAX-transitive-dependencies-t3359711s177.html http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-2972 If JIRA votes count... there are 7 attached to http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MOJO-687 The current 2.0.1-SNAPSHOT POM dependencies eliminate the xmlbeans-jsr173-api issue, and for that alone I think many people would appreciate a 2.0.1 release. For what it is worth... here is my +1!
