The sample I've included in the bugreport is probably half-baked. I
suppose the ${artifactID} tokens are to be replaced by the
archetypeng-plugin (which wasn't released at all and will replace the
default maven-archetype-plugin in near future).
What you have done is definitely correct. The "to-be-done" archetype
for creating netbeans platform apps will do the same thing
automatically when creating the project. However it's not possible now
with the current version of maven-archetype-plugin, I'm waiting for
the archetypeng codebase to be released which fixes my issues.
the nbm:branding goal itself doesn't do any filtering/ token replacements.
