Hmm, in this very case yes, but we've been building the project with Java 5 only since very recently, and I've had this error for months. The whole project is built with Java 5, so if that was the reason, I don't suppose it would wait until then to blow up? Note that there is no java 5 specific code in this specific class, while other classes now use Java 5 features and as far as I can tell, clirr doesn't seem to unhappy about that.
