I took a different route. I have a master licenses.xml, and svn externals to link it into the ./src/license directory for each project. That way when a developer adds info it will show up in all projects.

I noticed the Mojo team just released a new version of the plugin: 1.6, and I wondered if there were any new features that would help. (BTW: The project sites mailing list archive links don’t seem to be working: http://mojo.codehaus.org/license-maven-plugin/mail-lists.html) Dan On Jan 7, 2014, at 6:41 PM, Tomy Hudson <thud...@medio.com<mailto:thud...@medio.com>> wrote: We’re using the Maven license plugin, and have a lot of dependencies with missing license information. I know we can specify these licenses, but we have over fifty active projects, so rather than have a file in each project, I want to create a project with the missing license info and pull it into each project with the Maven Remote Resources plugin, using supplemental models, as described here in the section 'Publishing and Reusing Supplemental Models': http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-remote-resources-plugin/supplemental-models.html Unfortunately, the license-maven-plugin doesn’t seem to use this information. Is there something I can do to provide a master missing license file as an external resource for multiple projects?
