If you are using only few RSS feeds, you can put all rss URLs in urlfilter file to reject after fetch, use mergesegs with -filter option to create new segment index using the new segment.
or if u want to maintain large number of RSSfeeds use one nutch crawldb to only fetch/update rss .. and use another nutch crawldb to keep all links found thru rss..
